The Weeknd has performed a two-track medley from his new album ‘Starboy’ on Jimmy Fallon’s US chat show.

During an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Canadian singer sang ‘I Feel It Coming’ and the album’s title track, both of which were co-produced by Daft Punk. Watch below.

The Weeknd has released his new album ‘Starboy’ today (November 25) – stream it here.

‘Starboy’ is Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye’s third studio album. It follows 2015’s ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’, his 2013 debut ‘Kiss Land’ and the R&B star’s 2012 ‘Trilogy’ of mixtapes.

The record also features collaborations with Lana Del Rey, Future and Kendrick Lamar. Tesfaye recently described the latter as a “genius” in an interview on Beats 1.

“It wasn’t just a random Kendrick Lamar verse, it was something special because again, I don’t like to say this all the time, but we’ve known each other for a while and it’s crazy how we started connecting on this record,” he told Zane Lowe.

Last week, The Weeknd unveiled two new ‘Starboy’ tracks including the Daft Punk-produced ‘I Feel It Coming’.

Speaking about working with the French duo in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, he said: “Their studio is like a spaceship, there’s a lot of gear, but the way they make music, the way they explain it, is very cinematic.”

It was revealed earlier this month that the album’s title is a tribute to the late David Bowie. Confirming that the reference is deliberate, The Weeknd said: “I just love Bowie, I think he’s the ultimate inventor.”
